International Training Workshop on BDS Technology and Applications in the Belt and Road Countries
With the accelerated construction of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS), BeiDou is promoting the economic and social development of the countries along the Belt and Road(B&R) with its stable, reliable and accurate navigation services. In order to increase the communication and cooperation between people in China and B&R countries, strengthen the popularization of BDS technology and application, the “International Training Workshop on BeiDou Navigation Satellite System Technology and Applications in the Belt and Road Countries” will be held in “Beijing Conference Center”, Beijing, China during September 3-17, 2018, which is organized by China Satellite Navigation Office-Academic Exchange Center(CSNO-AEC) and Bureau of International Co-operation Chinese Academy of Sciences. More than 10 experts and scholars in the field of satellite navigation will be invited to give lectures about the basic and frontier knowledge of GNSS and BDS, Satellite positioning, navigation and time service, and satellite based augmentation system, et. al. The trainees will also have the opportunity to visit the high-tech enterprises and research institutions, learn about the satellite navigation products and applications, and have face-to-face communication with the researchers.
We sincerely invite the researchers and learners in the field of space information technology, satellite navigation, satellite communication and remote sensing from the B&R countries to participate in this workshop. All courses will be taught in English during the training, the students will take part in the class discussion and complete the class assignments. Finally, the graduate certificate will be issued to the students who pass the assessment. To encourage the trainees in the B&R countries to take an active part in this training workshop, the necessary expenses including accommodation, meals, round-trip airfare(less than 5500CNY) will be afforded by us. We also buy the health insurance for the trainees to guarantee safety.
